December 7th
We fished the canyon today, hooking 1 nice 25 inch steelhead. That was the only fish we saw caught.
Still haven't seen any rain to help the river flows.
Yep, I'm doin' the rain dance.
November 17th
Four experienced fly fishermen, one hook up that broke off, with one other hook up all day. It's very tough fishing compared to the last few years. It looks like it's back to what we were use to with steelhead. 1 to 3 fish in a day is successful. Pray for rain!
November 4th
It is definitely slower than last year. Rain is needed to draw the fish up. We caught 1, which was better than most fishermen we saw.
November 3rd
The Trinity river is starting to show some life. I'm fishing it this week and will report as soon as I return. Let's go fishing!
Well, the Feather River is officially shut down this year for salmon. We are still planning on fishing steelhead and salmon on the Trinity River in the fall. The Sacramento river has been fishing well for striped bass, as well as trout. Give me a call if you want to reserve dates for the steelhead and/or trout.
Fishing Report
I'll be slowing up until the end of April. Book now for this fall's steelhead season as we're sure to book full. We'll be fishing stripers and trout through spring and summer, followed by the heavily anticipated steelhead season through fall and winter.

December 6th
It was Light rain all day today on the trinity river, and NO CROWD! What a great day to fish.
The water conditions were great and plenty of fish, but those sneaky little buggers (or big buggers) kept shaking loose from the hook! We boated one, and lost one that looked like the biggest fish I've seen this season.
December 5th
The Trininty river was siightly silted due to the rain the last couple of days.
We hooked 8 fish, but only landed 1 today. There are still a lot of fish in the river.

November 23rd
The Trinity is still fishing well, even with the high pressure from fishermen. We were able to fish only a small section due to the number of people in the holes. We still caught some beautiful steelhead. Let's go fishing!
November 7th
It was a GREAT day of fishing, but the crowd is thickening, both on bank and in boats. We fished the Trinity again and caught 21 steelhead and two kings.
We caught steelhead up to 14 lbs!
Nov 2nd & 3rd
We fished the Trinity 2 days and caught 8 beautiful steelhead and 1 King salmon.
The river is very crowded. More fishermen than I've ever seen on the river. The fish are getting more spread out and getting a lot of pressure.
October 29th
We fished the Sac. from Posse to Anderson today. Everyone must be up on the Trinity, because we had the river to ourselves. Fishing was good. We hooked a bunch of trout, and boated around 10 fish.
October 23rd and 24th
We fished the Trinity River the last two days. 4 beautiful steelhead on the 23rd, and 20 Ginormous steelhead on the 24th!!!
October 10th
Fishing was slower on the Sacramento river today than the last few days, but we still caught beautiful trout.
October 5th
Just returned from the Trinity River. We caught 1 king and 1 steelhead approx. 9 lbs.
There weren't a tremendous amount of fish, but there were a lot of fishermen.
Some rain will help bring in more fish.
